EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION AS A TOOL IN THE MANAGEMENT OF AN ORGANIZATION (CASE STUDY OF NIGERIA BOTTLING COMPANY PLC, IBADAN)

ABSTRACT
          The purpose of writing this project is to satisfy one of the requirements for the Award of the National Diploma in Office Technology and Management.
          The whole essay reveals practical knowledge of effective communication as a tool in Managing Organization.  The clear detailed and comprehensive presentation of the research logics discussed in this project aimed at enlightening organization about important of effective communication in managing organization.  The project presentation is straight forward and these were data collected from the company used as a case study.
          The chapters were designed in a way to constitute a unit of understanding. A thorough knowledge of this project would enhance an understanding and appreciation of organization to adopt important communication in an organization.

CHAPTER ONE
1.0     BACKGROUND TO STUDY
         Effective communication is the life wire in any organization and a key to success in ones effective tools in managing as well as in ones personal life. According to Griffths (1993) define effective communication by which the contents of messages are composed and structured and transferred by senders and subsequently received and interpreted by the recipient as intended by the senders.
         No wonder, Plowner and Patason (1982), said that effective communication ensures that there is no delay, bottlenecks, confusion, misunderstanding and distortion of facts rather; it establishes unity among all the concerned persons and departments.
         Communication is so important that, without it no organization can function well.  Since an organization is a group of people associated for tool in managing, political, professional, religious, athletic, or other purpose.    Its activities require human beings to interact and react with to exchange informations, ideas, plans, proposals and to make decisions.
           Communication in any organization is always in the ways especially in any managing organization.  These are:
